Missão oficial do consulado da Índia retornou a Belo Horizonte esta semana com algumas novidades em especial para os setores de defesa e aviação.
Na AEROINDIA 2011, evento internacional de aviação e defesa realizado em Bangalore- Sul da India que terminou neste ultimo domingo dia 13 de fevereiro, a Câmara de Comércio Índia-Brasil, do consulado Indiano em Belo Horizonte, promoveu vários encontros entre empresários dos setores de defesa, aviação e tecnologia da informação.
Dentre as mais importantes reuniões realizadas e negociações que estão em andamento, o cônsul da Índia em Belo Horizonte Dr. Élson Barros Gomes Junior destacou os encontros com o empresário indiano e CEO do TATA GROUP ,o Sr. Ratan Tatá, que pretende investir nos setores de aviação, mineração, siderurgia e automotivo em parceria com empresas Brasileiras, e do diretor de defesa e aviação da câmara de comercio India-Brasil Sr. Renato Werner Victor de Queiroz, que ficou responsável por definir junto às forças armadas Brasileiras quais as tecnologias do DRDO (Departamento de Tecnologia de Defesa do Governo Indiano), podem ser utilizadas pelo Brasil no monitoramento e controle de fronteiras com a modernização de sistemas e até uma possível transferência de tecnologia VANT (Veiculo aéreo não tripulado) e Cyberwarfare (guerra cibernética), na qual a Índia possui tecnologia de ponta e considerada como uma das mais avançadas do mundo.
As próximas reuniões ocorrerão no Brasil já nos próximos meses com a visita confirmada de representantes do DRDO que se reunirão com membros do governo Brasileiro e do empresário Ratan Tata que deverá vir a Belo Horizonte ainda no primeiro semestre deste ano.
